American Iris Society Region 15 Spring Trek

Region 15 Spring Trek
Hosted by Sun Country Iris Society

This is a fee event. Members of the public are invited to register. Registration information can be found at the “events” page on this website. The events are at the Maricopa County Extension Office at 4341 E Broadway, Phoenix.

Friday April 10 events include: dinner @ 5:45pm (catered by Valle Luna Mexican Restaurant), Judges training by AIS President Bonnie Nichols @ 6:30pm, and Region 15 business meeting @ 8:00pm. 

Saturday April 11 events include: charted bus to 3 guest gardens departing the Maricopa County Extension office @ 8:00am (snacks included), returning to Extension office @ 2:45pm, afternoon dinner @ 3:00pm (pulled pork), Region 15 general meeting @ 3:45pm, guest speaker @ 4:00pm (AIS President Bonnie Nichols) followed by announcing Trek awards, silent auction and raffle drawing winners and wrap-up.

NOTE: During the events on Friday and Saturday registered participants are invited to participate in a silent auction, raffle and open purchase of new or recently introduced potted iris plants. 

NOTE: Potted iris sales to the general public are contingent upon availability of potted iris following the Region 15 Trek. If any potted iris remain future sale at a local nursery will be determined at that time and will be posted on this webpage.
